The most infuriating thing about being sick is the nearly unfixable high blood sugar. The first sign that I'm finally getting over a cold is how insulin suddenly seems to work properly again. I'm so tired and aggravated.

Which clearly worked, but I have no idea why I was trying to remember it in the first place now... anyway. Shout out if you remember this, I guess.

The sheer amount of extra decisions and considerations the chronically ill/disabled have to make per day...the constant, never-ending hypervigilance and hyperawareness is a completely foreign concept for people bot experiencing chronic illness/disability. It's no wonder we're exhausted.
