She lives!! My electrician buddy came over and helped me get this dryer going. Now it all works!
A blue heater/dryer used for screen printing. The lights are lit up and all the parts work. It has taken months. I took it all apart and replaced the insulation. I cleaned it all up and now she’s good to go!! The same blue dryer. It’s in front of nice white walls and a work bench that has a bunch of crap on it

I prepped one of my new huge screens. I got to try out the new power washer and emulsion. I’m really really, really really, really really hoping I can get some printing done tomorrow
A rad yellow spray washer and a spray hose thing spraying a yellow square leaning against a metal wall. The square is a silk screen. It’s 30”x30”. So big I made a 30”x30” piece of melamine to match the screen. I may not need the whole footprint of the screen in the melamine, but I wanted to be safe. Then the 30”x30” screen is mounted on the printing press. I still need to add the image to the screen, but we are getting there, ok?!

I am SO CLOSE to printing handkerchieves. So close. Every step of the process has been plagued by broken equipment. We’re almost there though!
I need a large, flat piece of melamine to print the bandanas on. They’re like $44 a sheet. This damaged one was 50% off! Score!!! I got the printing press deal put together. It looks like a circular piece of hell, but I think I can get it dialed in. The new work table and the heater/dryer in the. Ack. I’m so close to getting this stuff working!

I need a big work table, and I have all this extra wood from taking apart my mini ramp, so let’s put that engineering degree to work!
4 4x4’s attached with 2x4’s in the vague shape of a table. It’s currently upside down though, so that’s actually the bottom. Pranked Here the table is upright. There is a bottom, and framing for a middle, but currently no top. It’s also wide as hell. I tried for a full 4ft width, but 42” was much better I added a layer of melamine from my old mini ramp to make the middle shelf a bit nicer. The table is still topless. Scandalous The table has a top! It’s still a bit rough. I need to add melamine to the top and a nice 2x4” border. And casters. This beast is heavy.

Before I can start printing I have to get the shop set up and prepped. Time to drywall the ceiling!
A garage with some osb leaned up and the ceiling is partially drywalled. There is screen printing equipment waaaaay in the back Drywall going up onto the ceiling using a drywall lift. An indispensable thing to have More drywall being lifted to the ceiling. There is a ladder and some 2x4’s in frame. Some bookshelves. And a sweet drywall lift doing its thing

Machinery acquired! I picked up a dryer and a 4-station 6-frame press from Craigslist. I got tons of ink and supplies too.
A dryer/heater for screen printing. It has a conveyor belt that pulls fabric under heating elements to cure the ink. A screen printing press in pieces laying on the floor. There are bonus screens and inks in the back ground The dryer needs new insulation. I took the element and hood section off to replace the high-temp insulation New dryer insulation!
