Out of the deep waters comes a fabulous being of scales and fins, none other than Casey from the Black Lagoon! Come in for a selection of treats from the briny deep and a free hug!

ahhh i feel you on this so much!!! my n5 baby ass was not prepared hahaha, my bf is n3 so he manages really well and does most of the talking when we're out - i just wanna get gooodddd but when i'm on my own everyone speaks chinese to me! 🥹🤣

aside from that i think i just accidentally picked a cafe that has a high density of chinese people, when i randomly sat down, out of the 5 people sat around me 4 of them are speaking mandarin 🤣🤣🤣 (it's a random doutor chain cafe)

this is definitely both a blessing and a curse because it's great that between knowing english + chinese i get understood in most places but i also really want to improve my japanese 🤣

not me trying to practice my japanese when ordering at a cafe but because i am/look chinese, as soon as i falter i get directed to a chinese-speaking member of staff and the entire rest of the interaction is then in mando 🥲
