I get it, even as I admit to also loving to watch Lamar Jackson. But it's a fair critique. And that's also what made the end of the Eagles/Bills game so satisfying.

It's possible I'm being a bit contrarian (it wouldn't be the first time). But I hate how the Bills have seemingly become everyone's favorite or second favorite team. Few things give more joy than seeing the Bills lose.

Way, way back at the beginning of this century I played board games with Otis and his girlfriend and a few other casual mutual friends, all of whom I lost contact with since. But the memory still makes me smile.

(Still, a pretty damn great read if you can stomach over 850 pages on one of the most consequentially awful American political figures of the last 100 years).
