Amazing afternoon of Robo Bingo with @foxdogstudios.bsky.social in Bradford. My 8 year old was Minty Raven and was crying with laughter through most of the show! I highly recommend.

Kids have taken a real interest in Warhammer after trying it out on a school open evening. Took them into the shop at the weekend and they had their first try at painting a model. Part done but looking great so far.

Great visit to Keighley today, saw the fantastic Colorsphere at the Beacon as part of @bradford2025.co.uk
Also cakes from Three Little Birds bakery and discovered @misslollipop.bsky.social which is a wonderful independent bookshop where I picked up these gems.

When I was a child I LOVED the Tubby Tin books, I drove my parents mad always asking that they read them to me.
They're super rare but I got one and my kids fell in love with it. They've been asking for another so I managed to get this. So nice to share what I loved!

Just finished reading Careless People. It's very clearly written and so harrowing towards the end. Reinforced my intense dislike of anything Meta.

Came home today to a surprise parcel, a friend had sent back some books I had lent to her years ago. Good to see these again and I'm relishing rereading A Clockwork Orange soon.

Well written, shocking and urgent. Also seems baffling from here in the UK, I have never heard of book bans over here and hope it never happens. Much respect to Amanda for standing up against censorship despite all the threats.
