Question: if freedom of speech is so important for everybody, why does a leader of a particular country punishes everybody that says something he doesn’t agree with?

Sorry if I am sceptical, but how is it that here on Bluesky I see all the arguments that prove the Trump administration is criminal, anti-social, racist and what not, but no one is able to stop what is going on? Is it a question of numbers, fear, defeat or what?

Gave it a week’s try, but finally decided today to leave X completely. Don’t want anything to do anymore with that cesspool of hate, racism and stupidity.

Zijn er hier meer Nederlanders die X ook door de plee hebben gespoeld?

Our right wing Dutch parlement decided to subdue citizens with migrant origins to investigations in their cultural standards. Even people with roots in (former) Dutch colonies. Meaning they’re also no full-fledged fellow citizens. Racism in the Netherlands is now officially institutionalized.

I have to confess something: I now and then still scroll through the X-feed. Just to check if stupidity still exists. Spoiler alert: it does.

I’ve spent the last hour to scroll through the feed and found no mention of racist, violent, abusive, insulting, false or plain brainless posts. What a relief!

I am ignoring X now because I’m fed up with all of the racist, hypocritical and brainless garbage on it and hope I’ve made a good decision to join @bsky.app, where I finally can find mutual respect and read factchecked posts.
