Whoa, I literally just said the same thing, except flavor.
hannahcomer4d.bsky.social
Flavor. I love mushrooms. I'm ambivalent toward cottage cheese.

Straight out of an Obama speech, amiright?

1) I'm pretty sure they're prepping for it.

2) Apparently not.

My heart breaks for the kids. I hope they don't know their parents are suing someone because of how they are.

Apparently people are trying to sue Tylenol now because their kids have Autism. 😑

If only I could boycott my health insurance. 🫠

Spindrift is fairly reasonably priced at Costco. But I still just go for LaCroix.

That's really scary! To be honest, I always assume Canada is on top of things like that since they tend to be better off than the States in so many ways.

A Canadian friend just said that they can't get COVID tests in her area, and Paxlovid is only available in extreme cases.

Is that like a Canadian thing or a regional thing? That seems really scary!

Getting a mom to do laundry and feed me while I write?

My best guess is that they just mean to wash it separately when you first buy it so you don't get mad in case the colors bleed. But I've also never, ever experienced problems with dyes bleeding, so ...

One vendor let him be a tester on an arcade game, and everyone cheered him on.

Really, it was just part of a genuinely accepting gaming atmosphere, but it's a part I wasn't expecting.

It's amazing how treating all humans with respect can make your experience so much better.

I went to PAX (gaming con) last week, and I was amazed at how delighted everyone was in my 5yo.

Volunteers oohed and aahed over his costume and gave him trinkets, three adults invited him to join their Pac-man game as he watched, and a game vendor rushed from his booth to give me Skittles for him.

On the other Bad Place Alternative, some women bullied me for suggesting that progressive people sometimes don't want to give poor women the chance to keep their babies. We can't pretend like one side is blameless--we have got to weed out this behavior.

It's really scary how easy it is to sell soft eugenics. It's all about framing it as not wanting a kid to go through something, whether it's disability or poverty. I've seen people who'd call themselves liberal talk about forced sterilization as a way to stop kids from being born into bad situations

I always fall for it and the photos usually get worse (because of Lifetouch, not my son).

I am allergic to the vaccine. I rely on herd immunity. I caught whooping cough while pregnant and coughed so hard I bruised ribs for almost five months.

About this Florida vaccine story:

When they were little - 1 yr and 3 1/2 - my two older boys, who’d had all their shots, got whooping cough.

We asked their pediatrician what would’ve happened if they hadn’t been vaccinated.

“Oh, they’d have died.”

I've never noticed it. They're pretty condensed.

My homeschool choir sang at George W's election rally, and I thought it was the coolest thing ever.

So, uh, yeah. People can change.

The wool dryer balls should be enough. The sheets are bad for your dryer as well as your clothes.

She isn't RFK, literally feeding misinformation to people and profiting off death. She's a mother who was told lies and recognized it when she suffered the consequences. If we can't accept people like her when they recognize the lies, we can't expect to change anyone.

Oh no! Can you do a hospital tour? Those are all very important things to be concerned about.
