"Without You" is a close second. There's something about that cheesy love song that just gets to me.

I want to watch this film again, but probably not right away (unless my brain tells me otherwise via dreams).

I'm actually excited that I found a genuinely disturbing horror film. It's a very hit or miss genre. This was a freaking bullseye 😃

But, if I'm going to have nightmares, I prefer them to be based on films and fictional stories rather than on real-life problems, so good news i guess lol

I feel like I want (or need) to say more about this film, but I can't. Maybe the same thing that happened to me when I first watched Hereditary will happen to me now: three consecutive nights plagued by nightmares until I watched the movie again to tie some knots. Not exactly looking forward to that

Also: I have a pretty high bar for gore. I can eat the juiciest steak while watching any Saw film, no problem.

But this movie made me avert my eyes and squirm in my seat SEVERAL times. That caught me off guard.

Every actor in this movie is perfect (and everyone will rightly shower Sally Hawkins with praise), but Jonah Wren Phillips is the MVP. What an incredible performance.

I had to watch a YouTube interview with him afterwards just to make sure he's a normal kid 😂

Overall, and aside from getting 3 Domino dupes (grrr), I'm happy for what I got and glad that I opened them today, as I'm lucky enough to have most of the new champs coming in tomorrow.

The only ones I really want are Antivenom and Purgatory. Hopefully I'll pull them eventually, especially AV 🤞

Also opened one last Titan to try and get Okoye, but she still doesn't deem me worthy and managed to awaken Cassandra instead.

Marcia Gay Harden. She has NEVER phoned it in, always giving committed performances regardless of the quality of the actual product.
