The hippocampus encodes where the bird is looking, AND what it expects to see next -- enabling spatial reasoning from afar

Really enjoyed reading this, Tom! I'm hoping that continued increases in recording yields (working on this now) make it easier to scan for single trial activations at unknown times in future experiments—totally agree it'd be exciting to look for this directly
