What is the thank you for? If it’s general ‘I like the church and thank you for vicaring well’ then I’d say a donation but if there’s a particular thing you want to thank the person inside the vicar for, then a nice book token is a good alternative to food/drink.

If that’s how she’s signing off then you can probably go with that - bc if she wanted to be Rev X or Mthr X she’d use that signature. But otherwise just check when you meet.
