A probably better approach would have been to use typst as a library and write a Rest api with some Rust web framework.
Definitely a task for my future self!

One more reason to love typst!
I recently experimented with building a REST api in python with fastapi, that receives a json object and compiles it with typst to a pdf.
When I got it working and received my first pdf over http it felt like magic 🎉😁

What is the Digital Credentials API?

I think pixels are more accessible. In terms of font size, rem should be the default. But for spacing it often is worse for accessibility, if the layout scales with the font size, as it means less space for the text, with much more cramped lines and longer pages.

Awesome, I've always used the Context wrapper from runed

Holy, as if remote functions aren't already amazing enough

I had the idea of integrating it into marimo notebooks. So instead of writing markdown cells, I could write typst cells 🎉

Doing it in typst seems pretty crazy 😅 The result would be a ... pdf?
I might try it in nushell.

Can you give details on how you did that? I also want to give it a try :)

This is fantastic! I'm a big fan of Typst, and wider adoption means more users, which leads to more packages, which in turn makes the writing even easier for everyone :)

I always try to convince people giving it a try, but you know, academia is pretty conservative when it comes to latex ^^

Came here to say exactly the same 😁
