Needed a Frankie Goes to Hollywood re-do:

“Relax, just do it!”

😆

And of course my mind automatically thinks of the scene in Monty Python and the Holy Grail where the peasant played by John Cleese says “Very small rocks”. 🤣

Basic math- necessary. Geometry- I used it often at work. Algebra- I got it but never used it. Hit a wall with calculus. Had to change majors to one where it wasn’t required. 🤨

Still worked out ok for me and a career.

Thx for the advice. Cooking something for the first time is usually an experiment. I determined I used too much of a crab boil to season the chicken. The recipe was from a friend and a bit vague with directions. The sausage I used was just right- Chappell Hill Jalapeño. Good stuff.

Oh my. 😆 Been there done that.

That one I made was too salty. Will cut back on the NaCl next time.

Been there! Good beer, good people!

My fav is New Magnolia, followed by Great Heights and Walking Stick. North Shepherd was a good one, unfortunately they folded.

Looking for a quiet escape? Check out the smaller craft breweries around town. Plenty to choose from, most have a food truck serving up good grub. I’m biased towards the Shady Acres/Oak Forest area since that’s my stomping grounds. 😁

Makes for a neat-o pyrotechnic display!

This was a display at an airshow several years back. There’s a second guy with a shotgun- they explained it was accurate as the shotgun guy was there to protect the flamethrower.

Ouch. At least he wasn’t transiting a log over a muddy area or stream.
