Xbox changed after the Activision deal.

Microsoft stepped in to maximise investment (makes sense), and “nice-guy Xbox” got sidelined.

We’ll defo see more of this going forward.

Hardware, games, subs - all going up.

Video Games is becoming an elite club for console players.

Are we going to see more gamers migrate from consoles to PC?

This is why the current gen hardware has a price increase - so the next gen doesn't seem so much of a leap comparatively

imo Xbox increasing prices isn't to push current console sales, it's to shift consumer mindset of what we accept as the norm for the upcoming generation. To lessen the price gap between old and new...
