Actually, elect is what America did in November, at all three levels of government. I’m really sorry (as in sad) that so many of you voted otherwise and that your democracy appears to be broken, but the breakage was years in the making and obvious to anyone who looked closely. Fix it please.

They were flat out dismissive about the outrage they initiated: people didn’t even want to discuss, they claimed. Sure we would! If it were an honest discussion about how we feel about our sovereignty being threatened. The “51st state PROPOSAL” give me a break!
