Also, this is an effort to bring back old school segregation with a new look. First, the gut funding, then…they have low performing schools which they then point to and say “look, public schools are failing”…, then they allow more people to home school kids…and now?

I saw on the news that the FDA has approved a new pain med. Unlike opioids which sit in the brain growing more pain receptors, asking for more pain, this new one hits at the area of pain. It breaks the signal up before making it to the brain. We will see. I hope you can find a break from the pain.

Apathy. People have been numbed by their devices…too “busy” to look up to see the smoke. I want people to take to the streets. I want millions to walk out on a weekday. Business doesn’t like to bleed dollars. Dollars is all the MAGA elite see.

No. I only recently decided to check it out. I have the app.

Yes! When Twitter first started, I would do that. I didn't last long on that platform, in part, because of that.

Yeah, what could go wrong?

People need to ask their businesses, hospitals, schools, libraries, news organizations to not only get on BlueSky, but if they have the icons for quick links to others platforms on their sites…to add BlueSky right next to IG, FB, or former Twitter

This is great. There are so many in need.

I read everything Maya Angelou ever wrote. That is a good quote, and true. Thank you for sharing it with everyone.

I met Elie thirty years ago. His voice is missed. In person, he was soft spoken and gentle. His words held weight. They had value. They shared lesson borne from pain and suffering. He tirelessly worked to help humanity avoid its darkest rumblings. We will have new voices.

This is such a cool idea. I use to buy an “airplane” book whenever I flew. Being able to check one out at the airport is pretty cool!

“Dems should focus on Pete Hegseth’s lack of merit & qualifications. Highlighting his inadequacies in judgment, experience, and leadership is a stronger, more effective critique than getting distracted by tabloid-worthy distractions. Let’s stick to the substantive issues that truly matter to voters.

This is fantastic! Any time we can design a world that works for us. Is a step forward. We are in a renaissance of design improvements which will help those with disabilities live a fuller, less stressful life. Most have no idea how much time we spend working out today’s puzzle/maze. Love it

Who didn’t see this coming from a mile out?

Hey Todd. I can relate. My days are short now. When I get up, my goal is to finish everything important by 1. The other part of that goal is to try completing three things. We do the best we can. Be kind to yourself. That is a line I tell myself all the time.

Is there a way to have CNN add BlueSky to their site? When I see the icons for Facebook, IG, X…I have to wonder. Harder to make stuff up here.
January 17, 2025 at 2:57 PM
True. Having a doctor prescribe a necessary medical aid/device hurts, only to have insurance/medicare decide it isn't essential. I have been prescribed wheelchairs, only to have insurance suggest the ones prescribed are unnecessary. As one living with a spinal cord injury, I can relate.
