Just a boy, standing in front an abyss, asking it to stare back.
What a convenient and handy thing it is, that it only destroys the work and incomes of people *certain individuals* wish didn't have incomes or status in society.

They do that regardless of the quality of the strategy, though.

The more biased on shitty the coverage is, the more people read it! They love being mad at crappy sports coverage.

What about Christians who reject liberalism?

Nice, thanks.

Is there any truth to the speculation I read in Wired that the rapid increase in solar capacity was to beat a tax change deadline in China? They seemed to imply we'd see a slowdown as China attempts to strangle solar and peg it to coal in price.

But not executed by the same people, and are objectively not of equal importance.

For the same reason that any sane construction manager would prioritise building regulations adherence over stipulated portajohn cleaning frequency.

I'd argue the guy who prioritises stupid bullshit like M&M counting on the same level as electrical safety is the waste of money but whatever mate, not much more to discuss here.
November 25, 2025 at 4:08 PM
A guy who counts M&Ms is not reporting to the same line manager as the guy who does electric work.
November 25, 2025 at 3:33 PM
Also, why would it? Why would a guy who counts candy have anything to do with the competence of an electrician?
November 25, 2025 at 2:14 PM
Perhaps the people doing the organising you're describing are not the same people being described when they discuss people who hate obligations and responsibilities.

This was England's best chance for a win, with two key Aus players out. They had a very advantageous position in the match and completely blew it with stubborn batting tactics. Quite embarrassing and a big blow to any hopes of a positive outcome down there.

It's "Department of State" and they couldn't even activate enough braincells to come up with 'Department of Based' this is so fucking lame

Not if it's going north from Puerto Rico.

And the lesson the far right is learning from it is 'we called her slurs and now she's doing what we want - increase slur frequency until desired outcome'

The regulators are asleep at the wheel on the normalisation & disinhibition of unlawful racist abuse.

Ministers have yet to make the obvious link between their rhetorical disapproval of the slurs of the 70s/80s and their policy responsibility to do something about drivers

Have we entered a racism timewarp?

Why does X routinely defend the racist abuse that it has a legal duty to remove?

A binary choice: must we tolerate the use of "paki" as a racist slur in the Britain of 2025 - or will government act to Make Twitter Lawful Again?

They're describing people who haven't faced trial as "criminals" so they essentially already have.

It really is remarkable that journalists can find any reason to argue against Labour going left. Even, in your case, citing "anti far-right sentiment" as evidence they should stick to the right. Genuinely amazing that these people get to run newspapers.
