Yeah it is pretty dope. I re-watch it regularly. I love the lighting in this. 80/90ies had some of the most amazing lighting. Especially episode II (Cat Revenge) almost looks like a noire comic book. But I also love the shadowing and yellow brownish "egyptian" color grading in the 1st episode.

Have you watched the episodic horror movie "Tales from the Dark Side" by chance? It has a very similar creature in the 3rd episode. I just re-watched it the other day and this instantly reminded me of it.

I love the strong female action hero ballet in these scenes (re-watched it recently, too). She really wipes the floor with the gremlins stylishly. Great acting.

I recommend reading a bit about the TESCREAL movements ties to White supremacy and silicon valley. There are some more people, mainly tech oligargs, who are responsible for what we are in and what we move towards.
