Yes, game optimizations and support for all RDNA Series 1 through 4 will roll out at the same time in both driver packages – including but not limited to CoD, Crimson Desert, and Resident Evil.

AMD hasn't fully backtracked, they've just released a wishy-washy statement and are still putting RDNA2 into the maintenance driver branch far too early. So there won't be a follow-up immediately
