Over the past 10 years, I’ve lost a lot of friends and stopped talking to family members because I’m anti Trump. I’ve actually been told to my face by very good friends that I have TDS. They are no longer my friends.

My granddaughter (5) stays with us on average 3 nites a week because her of moms work. I get up at 6 am and enjoy my coffee, watch the local news and chill for about an hour. She wakes up, comes in the living room and sits on my lap and we watch Looney Tunes.
It’s the best 3 hrs of my week.

I spent 5 days last week on a river fly fishing for steelhead. The best part was no news, not hearing or seeing anything political. Just the sound of the water, being hungover from camp bourbon and feeling at peace.
Life was normal for the first time in a long time and the scenery was beautiful.
