Feels like to me that the bubble might burst in the same way the tech one did. It won’t take the AI tech down with it, but there would be a correction on the market hype and market caps.

My ideal tax code (probably not workable)
Carbon tax: starting at £1 per whatever, increasing to £2 in the second year, then £3 etc, until emissions are under control.
Income tax brackets, starts at 10%, increases by 1% for every additional 0 at the end of your yearly income (all income).

Yeah it does, but that only works for those whose homes can facilitate an EV charger. So maybe in cases where you can fit an at home charger then say you must have an EV. But without one, many still can’t wrap their head round the charging logistics.

From first hand experience with friends and family going through that scheme. The extra admin of an EV for some greatly reduces the intended benefit and effect of the scheme.

And that 12% might be light as there was a huge anti Tory tactical vote last election. I’m also convinced that the room Labour is leaving vacant on the left is what’s leaving room for both Lib Dem’s and Greens “in the conversation”. One of them is gonna do to Labour what reform has done to Tories.

This is how quickly the narrative turns, you need to delete “free flowing, aspirational attacking” and insert “doomed crisis club in transitional year”.

It’s not the best, but Dylan’s Pat Garret and Billy the Kid includes Knocking on Heavens Door, which makes wonder. Best song on a 12th album?
