First draft is always for myself, ever so slight tweak to the inlay tolerances before I get my Neptune to start cranking out these boxes.

Now here's a better use of color changing filament. Saw an exhibitor with this dice tower from @layersingreen.bsky.social and then went and got the model from their Patreon. I think it matches nicely with this folding fan I got at ACEN last summer.

Another one of my first projects that I'm revamping before bringing to cons. I wanted to distinguish the USB full of music for my car from, y'know, all the other identical 14 gig sticks. (It's not gauche to tag @jessenowack.com in this is it?

As soon as I got home from work I crashed super hard and had a dream about the guy on the back of the dollar, and when I woke up this was sitting fully assembled on my printer.

Brains are funny. Some part of me knew this unicorn horn wouldn't be nearly big enough for the filament to start swapping colors, and yet I convinced myself that it'd still turn out. Ah well. The toddler I passed it along to still thought it was a pretty purple.

I went and did three of these displays. First for this Club Nintendo prize from back when that was a thing, second for another fan I got when ACEN was roasting last summer, but I've still got one sitting empty that I'm looking to fill with something cool.

Definitely overengineered this dude. Had this idea about having a whole bunch of these layers in different colors so as to assemble a multitude of pride flags. Clearly its easier to just swap filaments midway. C'est la vie.

Static pictures really can't do justice to how cool multicolor filaments look when you rotate the print and it shifts from black to blood red.

The best photo I've taken of the wave texture plate, definitely still looks much better in person. I continue to be fascinated by the light physics that make a rainbow.
