Real name: John. Aspiring writer. Cat Dad. Uncle to four. Liberal to the core.
The title really summed it up. It was just the final insult to the audience.

Cataphractii if we're going by the Horus Heresy Theory. Storm Bolter.

Gameplay was good and the music was great and I loved that bike, Vi-O-La. An overall 8/10 game.

Unlike a lot of others, I actually liked the supporting cast and while they were kinda one note, they were overall likable, with McKenzie being the most annoying, but only because his role was to chime in on the radio. Wish they had let that just be something I could manually answer.

To make a comparison to a pop culture figure, he reminds me of Original Trilogy Boba Fett without the Expanded Universe stuff or the new stuff that came out recently. He more or less just stands around and we don't get much backstory for him aside from what we learn or what we know previously.

As someone who hasn't played the past Prime games, I have no prior experience with Sylux. This guy has apparently built up for a while, but aside from controlling the robots that attack me, he doesn't really do anything nor does he have much in the way of character.

I'm not a fan of most LitRPG's, with a few exceptions, so something like this that examines the harem power fantasy that most LitRPG's turn into by actually examining the characters and their post fantasy adventures and how it affected them works for me.

Unfortunately, the coloring choices just... Bug me. It's a Me thing, but I'm gonna try to overcome it.

The premise is this: Basically imagine if the Dungeons and Dragons cartoon had a downer ending: One of the kids is missing, they have injuries, both physical and psychological, and they can't talk about it. Then years later they find a way back to that world to face their trauma.

Aww, my dad had a few Pogo comics.

I feel like I should reply to that one in the form of a paradoxical question just to fuck with it.

Why do companies make cute characters who make going evil so unappealing?

That would be sweet. Love LOTD. Really hope that they actually release a new box one day. Also hope that the audiobook is voiced by Toby Longworth when it eventually happens.

Thank you for replying. Part of me hopes that WOTC gets their heads out of their butts and do more Eberron novels. But given their business decisions as of late, it's doubtful.

He believes that if he doesn't use it, no one does.
