This short documentary is about the Maskaure reindeer herding community that has shared so much with me over the years. It lends insight into reindeer pastoralism and Sámi culture but it is mainly a story about trust, friendship and giving.

Our new study of reforms and coalition building around Indigenous Sámi reindeer pastoralism is relevant to ongoing discussions in critical environmental scholarship that investigate the agents and strategies able to tackle sustainability challenges.

Happy about our new article on public contestations by Sámi reindeer pastoralists against encroachments. It elucidates forceful struggles against "compensations" supported by hegemonic actors and speaks to debates on pastoralism and transformative change.

How is the Sámi movement mobilising to address the grievances of Indigenous reindeer pastoralists? I analyze 10 years of media data to present grievances expressed in the public, strategies applied to address them, and discuss limitations and opportunities.
