The Custom hero base - FAB•!T is available for download from my 3D print share sites.

Would love to see how people print and customize it!

Here's my process of sketching Omni-Man on my customizable base FAB•!T figure.

Used charcoal pencil and kneaded eraser to good effect. I'll try a regular soft pencil for next time around, but I find the charcoal to be a great way to sketch expressively.

Who wants to draw some faces?

I can't keep up with all the characters I want to make, so I made a blank Li'l Crafty so you can draw whoever you want!

Trying out a range of expressions to verify that I've made him suitably customizable.

Happy with the range, but need to make a lady base next.

The model I was actually working on before going on an Easter egg-shaped sidequest is done and on the machine for a verification print.

“Gray is not an Easter color.” my wife says to me. So I guess I’ve gotta spend a little time painting these test prints up to make use of them during the inaugural Easter Bug Hunt.

Noticed a big Internationally recognised geological feature missing from Google Maps today. Super weird.

Please help by reporting this oversight.

"Did you make a Valentine's Day Mandrake!?" my daughter exclaimed from across the house.

I think that's what they mean when they say kids are such an inspiration right?

Unclear if she noticed that it was a heart...

I'm almost finished with my latest #3Dprinted piece of weird decor for #Valentines

Needed to figure out more mechanics for this than I'd imagined so it's been pretty slow going.

Hell Yeah @alexberkowitz.bsky.social !

Love these!

I've got some different elastic coming in the mail so I can try stringing them up the way they were designed, but looping #StretchMagic elastic beading cord through every face worked pretty good.

The model is ”Squishy Fidget D20" by @alexberkowitz.bsky.social on Printables.com

The build requires a little patience to thread an elastic cord through all the faces so it can stretch and squish, but it's a really satisfying project. Already made 2 of them today.

Found a cool new fidget toy that's perfect for end-of-spool prints.

Searching for what to print with the last few meters of filament?

Make (quiet) fidget toys and give them to your local elementary. Special Ed teachers need sensory toys for the kids and they often have to buy them out of pocket.

First Ninja and now Power Rangers.

I started out with the goal of just creating some generic action poses for the heads I made for my October #MASKtober challenge. Instead here I am with a small handful of new figures.

Next time I swear I'll make a generic base.

Starting off my second season of figures. Lil Snake Eyes is up for grabs.

than.gs/m/1242906

One of the least popular heads from my MASKtober bunch, so of course it's the first one I convert into a full figure.

Does anyone know what to call the design aesthetic of the #MechaComet?

It’s more colorful than most #neumorphic or #softui

It looks like an @androidarts.bsky.social or pixel art design brought into the real world with soft matte mid-tone pastel plastics.

Quick Snakeyes WIP.

He wasn't at the top of my list, but he was requested, and It'll make a good base for other figures.

When I look back at the year, my #ADHDbrain only sees the broken promises of unfinished projects.

While digging through those WIPs to put my shortcomings on public display, I found these staring back at me, challenging me to acknowledge what I had made.

It feels good to get something out again. Not the full final Ghost Rider, but something of a pocket-sized study.

than.gs/m/1231083

I also made a version where the sled is just kicking up snow that can be used interchangeably with my other Little Craftys Heads.

I think this is starting to look better... getting past the hair flowing in the wind look has been a block.

Here they are fresh and hot off of the printer.

The Matte beige from @bambulabglobal.bsky.social came out better than expected. They look just like real cookies hanging on the tree.

Long before I knew what a polygon or a UV map layout was, organizing Christmas cookies for the ideal cut of that first pristine roll-out of dough, is one of the most satisfying memories I can recall.

The GingerBread ornaments from @LootStudios
just had me reliving that #ChristmasTradition.

Just noticed an "All Plate Stats" panel in the Preview Tab of @BambuSlicer.

Super useful for estimating filament usage across multi-plate prints.

Only suggestion I would make is there should be checkboxes to include or exclude plates from the totals since 3MF Projects often have optional plates.

Ran a cheap little LED up into Zero's nose. I still want to print the nose in transparent orange rather than the opaque red I had on hand, but this is still pretty convincing.
