Not much has happened in the past couple of months other than I turned 13 years old in October. I got a super tasty cookie. Come on mom! Give up the cookie! Hi everyone! It's Walter here. My friend June and I have a friendly rivalry going on today as our football teams meet tonight in their season opener. June is a Baltimore Ravens fan and I'm a dedicated Buffalo Bills fan. Her very talented mom (who also has ties to Buffalo - she was born there) made this cool trading card like portrait of me so I can show support for my Bills.

Hi everyone! It's me, Walter. We've had a miserably hot summer without much rain, so we haven't been spending much time outside. One thing we have done is take a trip up to our local Bruster's Ice Cream shop a few times. They give away free Doggie Sundaes every day! The first-time mom forgot to take any pictures, but I made sure she did when we went a few days ago.

Hi everyone! It's me Walter. Remember the last time I was on here I showed you how I was enjoying working on a stuffed Kong in the yard while my parents did some gardening? I love working on Kongs anywhere! The weather has been cold and raining so we can't get outside right now so my dad stuffed a Kong for me and let me work on it on the bed.

Hi everyone! It's Walter here. I want to start by wishing my mom a Happy Mother's Day! She celebrated by doing some yard work with my dad while I got to hang out and work on a Kong. I'm snoopervising the work being done. It was a cool, sunny day which was perfect for hanging out in the yard. I like to take my Kong to the shade under our katsura tree to work on it.

It's with heavy heart that I have to tell you that Millie made her trip over the Rainbow Bridge yesterday. After a couple of days at home we had to return to the vet where we discovered that her liver was failing. She fought a fierce battle, but in the end could not overcome her illness. Millie was mischievous as a puppy…

Hi everyone! It's Cindy here. Millie is home but far from out of the woods. After three days in the hospital Millie still wasn't eating consistently and the vet felt she was well enough to go home. It's good to be home. The hope is that at home she will feel more comfortable and be willing to eat in quiet, familiar surroundings.

Hi everyone! It's Cindy here. Today we're thankful that Millie is doing better and should be home soon. She is still at the 24-hour vet Rochester Emergency Veterinary Services (REVS) but is doing much better. They called us this morning because Millie wouldn't eat for them and asked if one of us could come in to try to get her to eat.

Hi everyone! It's Walter here. I thought I would pop in to let you know what is going on with Millie. It sure is quiet around here. We got a call from our vet early this morning with results from Millie's blood tests and it turns out she is not in kidney failure but has pancreatitis. Our parents were very worried about her and before that call were contemplating what the next steps would be for Millie.

Hi everyone! It's Millie here. I've been causing a bit of mischief the past few days. I've been napping a lot this past weekend. It started Friday night and Saturday morning when I threw up four times in a few hours. Next thing I know I didn't get any breakfast and then I was off to the vets. They poked and prodded me as well as took x-rays of my chest and abdomen, but did not find anything wrong.

Hi everyone! It's Millie and Walter here. Our snow has been gone for a while and spring is trying to show itself very slowly because it's been cold still. Being senior dogs we do a lot of napping during the day. I don't mind being close to Walter, but how am I supposed to sleep with a smelly foot on my head?

Hi everyone! It's Millie and Walter here. We've been having a rough winter this year especially compared to our past two winters. This year is really about average for snow fall but we've also had lots of below normal temperatures. I'm heading out from the back door along one of the paths we have. Our parents keep a path shoveled on our patio but after that it's just all foot paths.

Hi everyone! It's me, Walter. We've had some nasty weather around here lately. In the past 24 hours we've had rain, sleet, freezing rain, snow and wind will be added into that mix later on. I'm blowing a big raspberry on today's weather. I'm staying inside and getting my rest as it's too miserable to be outside. When you're a senior pup like me it's okay to take it easy most of the time.

Hi everyone! It's Millie and Walter here. We're sure you are wondering how Millie is doing since her surgery last week. My eye looks normal now! I'm happy to say that my eye is completely healed and I only had to wear that nasty cone for three days! We also had a call from the vet and the lump was completely benign.

Hi everyone! It's Millie here. I want to start by thanking everyone for all the POTP, purrs and prayers you sent me as it seems to be working. The surgery went well, and the vet was pleased with the results. I was pretty out of it when I came home yesterday afternoon. I slept most of yesterday in my cuddle bed and wasn't interested in doing much of anything else.

Hi everyone! It's Millie and Walter here. We love this time of year when we exchange Christmas cards with our friends around the world. As usual our mom prints out all the e-cards we get too so we can display them all on our ribbons with the snail mail cards.  Millie eventually showed up because she thought there might be treats involved.
