Sharing this again for awareness because it’s something I deal with everyday and I wouldn’t wish it on my worst enemy. My pain is intense today and I’m struggling right now. Some days it whispers; some days it screams. There needs to be more education on this disability so please share. ❤️

I live with Fibromyalgia. Here’s some information about it for those who aren’t familiar with it. I aim to help educate others and encourage compassion and understanding towards those who suffer from it. #fibromyalgia #fibromyalgiaawareness #chronicillness #spoonie

The mind: Brain fog, confusion, speech difficulty, memory issues, insomnia, depression, anxiety, decreased appetite. The body: Widespread pain, fatigue and weakness, noise, light and touch sensitivity, twitching and numbness, IBS and nausea, temperature regulation issues What is that? fibromyalgia is a chronic flunctuating condition. There is currently no cure for it. It can affect all aspects of the mind and body: at once, in certain areas, at certain times and symptoms can change regularly. There are currently debated around whether it is neurological or autoimmune.
