Why did Slater's move to ESPN require him to leave Warriors +/-? Do they forbid their employees from non-ESPN podcasts? Or something to do with the economics?

Will be noted in a story later today, but the Valkyries are not considering any playoff games outside of Chase Center at this time, according to two sources in the organization. Chase has a packed schedule in Sept, but Valks owner owns the arena and plan is to play all playoff games there.

By cutting Chen in camp and then re-signing her, did they forfeit team control? Was thinking they'd like having her on a multiyear rookie deal and then realized she may no longer be.

That was the story when Kerr was extended. Notable at the time it was shorter than Curry's deal. Still wonder if Lacob gets fed up with Kerr not adjusting his system or just thinks someone else could make it work.

Does this impact Kerr's future with the team? IIRC he's signed for 1 more year whereas Curry/Green/Butler have 2 more.
