Democracy being in peril would feel different. I wouldn't be a poll observer in Chesterfield County. My neighbors wouldn't be poll workers. If democracy is weakened, the outcry will come from people you never hear a peep from about politics.

DAFs can only fund public charities, which can’t really do political spending…. I don’t see how DAFs are relevant here. What am I missing?
