they absolutely do some absolutely asspull sci-fi as hand wavey magic in some aspects, and some aspects might not have aged super well, but plot and politics wise, I still kinda love it

maybe I'm a super casual Gundam fan but it's one of my favorite series period. Sub>Dub fs here. Almost all Earth based, neocolonial super powers fighting proxy wars in the Middle East using religion&terrorism to cover for grabs at energy resources. Immediately rewatched last October
