So the original purpose of the Democrats holding out was to preserve Healthcare. Now they struck an agreement to end the shutdown only in exchange for making sure federal employees are paid. What am I missing?

Has anyone noticed today's Republican talking point. They are all calling the Oct. 18 No Kings demonstrations "Hate America Rallies". They are all using it. Fox and the rest of the right wing media will be using it. It will be their mantra until Oct. 18.

I just saw that the wonderful Marsha Blackburn (you know---the hair lady) is running for governor of Tennessee. This is what Republicans have been doing for years. Being in control of governorships is a primary part of their takeover of this country. Think of all the ones who hav edone this.

It's time for compulsory voting in the US. About 90 million eligible voters did not vote in the last election. Now look at what we have. Why are Democrats not advocating for this? Republican heads would explode when they realize they have to explain why they don't want people to vote.
