Once baked a batch of chocolate chip cookies (maybe 20+); after the fact realized I was flying out on vacation next day, figured must finish all that night…and did; because of course they wouldn’t be good 4-5 days later

My dad tells a story about them in college driving through Wisconsin with multiple cases of beer and a trunk load full of rifles, amazing people can live so long

Never heard this story, crazy, I’m glad you are OK. And I think about the sentiment of this last part of your thread a lot as I found myself in several similar situations at that age.
