Had help putting together a little greenhouse that will be used as a feral cat feeding area when it’s raining.

The ferals/strays mostly disappear during the daytime, but I can usually find Shorty somewhere in the backyard (or he finds me). Glad I spotted him today when the temp hit 101°F and was able to give him some liquid treats for a bit of hydration.

@darthbluesky.bsky.social I can finally pet all the feral cats (the regulars) that visit my yard. We call this sweet girl Half’n’Half. It’s taken almost 3 years to get here, and she’s still a bit scared of me, but it feels like a huge accomplishment!

Our friend Oober showed up with a leg injury. Luckily he’s friendly and we were able to get him to the vet for some antibiotics.

First morning of new med, she’s not a happy camper. I thought there wouldn’t be issues because it’s chicken/liver flavor. Wrong. I forgot how much a cat will drool when you shoot gross liquid in its mouth.

I love this little cat so much, she’s so funny. Even though Pearl was pumped full of gabapentin this morning and very wobbly, she couldn’t resist climbing the ladder I left in the hallway.

Double sad cats at the vet for wellness exams. Mostly good, both need dental work though. Other Bart (orange) was so exhausted after that Sméagol was able to snuggle up next to him.
