I wish that weren't the state of our situation with physical media right now.

I think it's only for this game. A couple of Nintendo's first party's say explicitly that the upgrade pack needs to be downloaded.

Probably can't answer but what the heck, I'll ask anyway. Any chance ya'll are working on a physical for Star Wars Battlefront Classic Collection?

We can't control everything, but it can be under control to a certain degree. That's what matters.

But that's the thing. It's not illustrated. Taking care of the equipment and the copy of the game keeps it tangible.

Take Scott Pilgrim VS the World for example. For the longest time it was digital only and then delisted so no one could experience it ever again. Once brought to physical, even if it gets delisted digitallh again, the access is always there. Now it can be enjoyed again and again and again forever.

Okay but like you said with Pokémon Yellow and Celeste. What if you want to have those experiences again? Experiencing art shouldn't be a single instance. It should be allowed to be that we can relive something until the day we die and then future generations can still experience that too.

You're arguing semantics. The sensationalism about the experience doesn't help. The point of owning (possessing) a copy of a game is to be able to relive the experience whenever you want. It's about preservation.
