I didn’t like One Battle After Another when it came out. Primarily because of its depiction of Black Women but the more that time passes the more it becomes apparent that despite my personal feelings, it is a very important movie.

When all of this technology was being sold and cheered on as making the world more convenient, it was clear to anyone who was paying attention and who knew a bit about how Israel’s occupation of Palestine, that the technology was just going to be used to track, oppress, and terrorize people.

Ice Agents walk around in group of 6+ with military grade weaponry and body armor but at every turn they are talking about being scared for their life. I think it’s about time the people give them a reason to be scared.
