I've also started laying groundwork for a repeating hexagonal bottom floor @ -384m from starting location, centered at 0,0,0,0. Why have cubes when you can have hexagons with circular and equilateral triangle lighting and supports?

black marble tower inside a stone tower, black marble holds the etir refinery so it won't burn down my base while I convert yggdrasil sap and ice giant brains into Pez.

also been slowly working on the main base which is more aesthetic and less 'defense' since it's just elevated entirely rather than having a floor level entrance to drag tamed animals in should it get wiped out in a raid.

added an extension to the back, then added a moat and some bonfires (over a buried workbench to push back spawns).
raisin' chickens, lox, wolves to complement my 2* elite combat piggies.
the wolves are only a regular one and a 1* one, I haven't seen a 2* to tame yet.

structurally done - 2 hearths keep the chicken hatchery on the floor below it nice and incubated. gotta add the supports for additional roofbees on the north side, and then add some decorations and stuff like porches, eaves, etc.

Roofbees. Taming a 2nd boar, although I haven't been able to find a 2nd ** elite so it's just a tough piggy, but there's a 50% shot piglets will be ** so I can just nature do it's thing.
