I don’t know about KC, but in general KIPP schools are strong academically & they have higher numbers of black & lower income students than many charter schools.

He did have a cane in his right hand and a bible in the left. Just as the VP turned to shake his hand the Sen took the Bible but I don’t know if there was enough time to shift hands. I hate to defend them but it might have just been a confusion in the moment.
