Topsham in Devon was founded by the Romans as Exeter’s quay. Popped into The Bridge today, which isn’t quite as ancient but still pretty old. Apparently not haunted but very atmospheric.

There’s a mummified hand at The Haunch of Venison in Salisbury. A card sharp from Southampton was caught cheating, and had his hand cut off and thrown in the oven next to the fire. Centuries later, it’s still there 😟
