Not common but not unheard of. Here’s a historic record of tornados in MD. It appears @ 1st glance- the number has dramatically increased after 1990. This aligns w/ models that link human driven global warming to climate change. Time for cities east of “tornado alley” to improve emergency plans.

Like- even if I didn’t care (I do) about the mission of the NWS, FDA, CDC etc. or the individuals/family’s affected- if you are aaaaaall about the economy (I’m not)… wouldn’t you give a fuck about intentionally taking away THOUSANDS of jobs?
