While I definitely wouldn't put it past a ICE agent to pull this kinda crap, I'm a little suspicious of this video being "too good." Has it been vetted to not be altered, edited or AI gen? (I'm thinkin' that last one 'cause it's only 15 seconds long.)

Aw, man, that's unfortunate.

Reminds me of when I have to relight the pilot light on my house's late-1950s gas furnace. I hold the lit end of the long lighter near the tube end and hold the valve "light" button down and nothing happens for, like, 30 seconds, and I lose my nerve and let off. Repeat seven times before it works.

Makes me wonder if there are water dish/bowl heaters with integrated battery back-ups. Would be nice to have for situations like this.

Fingers crossed it's just something easy like dust buildup. Have you also considered using MemTest86 to check that the RAM is okay? I'm unsure if a bad spot in the RAM will cause a system shut-off, but it might, and it'd be a good idea to check anyway.

Thinkin' it's dust and crud build up in the heatsinks and fans or dried out thermal paste on the processor?

IIRC, Loom came about because LucasArts originally planned to have a fantasy setting point-n-click adventure game series to go alongside their other series and titles. Unfortunately it didn't continue, which may explain the ending being that way.

Actual, genuine luxury quality, would be akin to a wealthy man of a century and so ago hiring Frank Lloyd Wright to design and build their building and all the furniture in it. So, all bespoke, all made of the utmost quality material, built to last. (Though, in Wright's case, add more steel beams.)

Hear, hear! Plaster and lath all the way!

Heh. How 'bout Terran Trade Authority vibes instead?

I do so love spaceships with multi-color banding and stripes.

I'm trying to figure out how you could view such NSFW posts when you shouldn't be able to when logged out. Well, unless the posters didn't tag them NSFW like they oughta.

The ratio on the final contract amount to starting amount is so bad my calculator's result used scientific notation with a negative exponent

Seems Nicki's brother was charged and convicted in New York State court, from my cursory searching. Trump's only got the pardon power for federal crimes, so he can't pardon this one. Though, doesn't mean there isn't other shit he and his admin can try and pull to get Nicki's brother out.

Mentally read this in Alex Jones' voice and had a bit of a giggle.

What a coincidence that this attempt to force a trend of low and no-caffeine drinks coincides with a spike in the cost coffee. That has to surely have no causal relation, now does it?

That's how I assume the French came to first eat snails and frogs' legs.

A shame. Though, perhaps they coulda gotten you potato chips made from uncommon potato cultivars. Are there purple potato chips out there, and are they any good?

It's not available all year round where you live? 'Cause I know the Walmart I go to here in Iowa has at least some caramel dip for sale all year long. It's just that it's in the produce section on a small, low down shelf on the side of a end cap, so it's tough to find.

Immediate thought on seeing the "Banjo" lighter: "That totally needs to be in Lackadaisy."

I went the caffeine pill way too. It's so much easier and safer at my job to carry a bottle of 100 mg caffeine pills and my screw-shut water bottle than carrying that water bottle and a coffee cup. And don't have to deal with folk "forgetting" to refill the break room coffee pot either.

Correct; This is another trove of files.

The bill to release the federally held files would have to clear the House, Senate and be signed by the president or get a veto-proof supermajority in both chambers. A quite tall order, but not impossible.

The episode of The Simpsons about this from the 90s really needs to be spread around more. I do not want people to have to resort to getting surgery from Nick Riviera level yahoos 'cause they can't afford, or can't even get at any price, insurance.

And prominently featuring that their analog sticks use long-lasting magnetic Hall effect sensors is a shot at Nintendo not using that tech in the Switch 2, instead reusing the same potentiometer tech from the Switch that was prone to drift after not that much wear from use.
