I make all kinds of mustelid art! Mostly ferrets, but I'm willing to tackle any 💙

I got back into physical media a year ago, and I buy all my DVDs second hand anyway. Apart from a few bangers, I feel that Princess and the Frog was the last true Disney movie. I'm content with leaving their brand as a part of my childhood, in the past.

Which is weird too, because I've never met anyone who doesn't like frogs! They're the favorite animal of several people I've met.

I always suspected it's just because they're small, not big and 'majestic'. Time and again society still seems to rank the worth of creatures by their size. Who knows

It's very strange. Conservation charities use frogs as logos or advertising images often, why aren't they using more funds to save them?

My guess is probably not, or the message wouldn't be as effective.

It's a great PSA though, pretty much the first I've seen in a long time that hits in a similar fashion to 90s PSAs.
We could also think of them as actors, for the sake of it being less depressing :p

They were featured on a benefit CD for In Defense of Animals, they're good in my book!

Beyond that, freaking awesome!

Honestly I don't know why the 4th one got so much hate. I have a vague idea why some people hated the ending, but it's definitely the one I rewatched the most!

Any plans to restock Serenity Rose? I might need a third copy..unless I figure out how to fix the binding.
Both my original and 'new' second hand copy are coming apart. Needless to say, I constantly flip through them.

I love the idea here! I immediately interpreted the cover art as 'growing up' - you could say it ties in well with the title. Really thoughtful and well executed, and a lovely sounding piece :3

That's an odd analysis considering the ending theme is gospel style and the book has several references to God from a dog's perspective.

My 5th grade teacher read us the first and second books. I found them redundant and boring. Never understood the appeal.
