Started some proper thumbnails for my books cover. I have decided which ones to take to the next stage. I plan to have better thumbnails for at least four of them. It's possible that I use all four in the book. I'm working with two characters on the cover.

I keep a lot of lists and I'm finding myself where I needed to keep a list just for @taggartrehnnauthor.bsky.social just so I can keep up with the classic #WritingCommunity on the other main list of mine lol. Hope you don't mind! I may just turn this into a feed if ya'll are interested.

Finally had my first soda in over a week. Got my Jeep back from the repair shop and everything's good with her. Can't wait for my Dave & buster trip tomorrow! It is well overdue. Also got this cute little duck. Named her Autumn. Fits right in with the others. Just another day in a #WritersLife

Went to Dave & Buster's yesterday which relieved some stress. I got a bunch of Wonka cards from the wona coin pusher. I had three sets of characters and one golden ticket! Then I got two ducks out of the claw machine and added them to my duck collection in my jeep. Their names are Blocky and Lucky.

I just love surprises! Of course I already knew they had been put up while I was away but finally came in to see for myself. These are two of my artworks. The original 'beware rooster' portrait and a metal print of 'Death Angel'. I need to make more to fill the board!

Totally a chaotic planters with the ideas that I start with but never write most of it down and have to assemble the scenes into that frankendraft lol. I've got a lot of frankendrafts!

As she opened the window, the shadow behind the curtain vanished. The young girl with her knees tucked to her chest was a mirage in the sun's light. A giggle behind her causes Tam to turn around to the dark house around her. Nothing was there, she told herself. It's a mirage.

Got home early thanks to the snow so went up to check on one of my chickens named Morrigan. I have to separate her since she doesn't get along with the rooster but she had pushed her slide door opened and joined the flock. Was even running around in the pen with them too lol. Added an old pic of us.
