Can you tell why one of these is referred to as a "stilt-legged horse"? The taxonomy of these guys is contentious, and it's not helped by the fact that it can be hard to tell them apart from more standard-shaped horses... #FossilFriday

Hello all! I'm a first-year Masters student at the University of Minnesota, studying the evolution of dental development in horses (and morphological evolution, more broadly).

Hopefully this can be as good of a place to network as Twitter used to be!
