Peter Waals was foreman & chief cabinet maker to Ernest Gimson. In 1935 he became design consultant at Loughborough College. He designed all the furniture for Hazlerigg Hall & these were built by his students. All the furniture was sold off by auction in 2017 & I was lucky enough to win 2 pieces.
