I would say in general yes. Hair and makeup mostly. Clothing is more neutral.
Conservative- prefer heavier lined eyes, muted eyeshadow and blonde hair that's been straightened.
Liberal/prog- Eyebrow/eyeshadow emphasis over eyeliner, hair with natural textures, less tanning.

I only mildly use it after having been bullied in the forums by a KAL group. I made a new profile and only use it to look up other people's projects when I buy yarn. I like knitsky much more.
