Isn't it something to do with the length of the flight. Over 6 hours counts as long haul and you should get a meal. Under than and they have a menu they bring round and charge you £15 for a cheese toastie and a drink.

So many options too. I've got the Bambino Plus and the Smart Grinder Pro but just wanted less fuss so got a semi automatic option in the Touch Impress. I can queue everything up and leave it while I do other things or go manual depending on how I feel.
