Work in progress on D213 layout, depot has fencing parking and a sign, new permanent way yard and station staff parking and D213 has gained a restaurant car for those longer excursions

A slightly improved version in the cab of D213 Andania which was the loco my Grandfather drove on his last shift for BR in the late 60’s I got to visit it in Crewe last year,it’s beautifully preserved and pulls heritage tours

My first attempt at a scratch built station, bit rough around the edges and the platform is still only a foam board mock up but I’m happy with it so far.. looking forward to getting into the ground cover/ballasting and scenics.

Now that D213’s layout is electrically tested and running time to get back into scratch building the station with inspiration from the excellent book by David Lawrence
