Finished Blonde by Joyce Carol Oates last night. It's a fantasy version of Norma Jeane Baker's life but it reads like the truth. That poor woman 😔 What a shitty life. She had the right idea though. Take the pills and keep the truth in the background. The way women are treated by powerful men 🙄
