That thing when you realise it’s a public holiday Monday as you only have one meeting in your diary and wonder what’s happening there.

Woooo! Congrats England on back to back Euros. What a start to a Monday morning

That England game was some start to the day. Reckon I’m emotionally done and it’s only 7.45am

The NDIA spends so much resource monitoring media and to use these insights in this way is just awful. It is a scheme with huge administrative burdens and is not uncommon to share insights about how to navigate it. This is absolutely a product of the system and not rorting.

Excellent work by Rick and absolutely shocking practice.

Try not to overdo comparisons to robodebt. But this is closest I've seen to a post-robodebt copy of the playbook. NDIS boss demands participant be booted from scheme after conservative radio segment. No evidence. Sham process. Against policy. Gets it WRONG www.thesaturdaypaper.com.au/news/health/...
Exclusive: NDIA chief intervened to throw advocate off scheme
Internal emails show the National Disability Insurance Agency rushed to withdraw access for a disabled person whose funding was criticised on talkback radio, only to reinstate it 10 months later.

As the Canadian government pushes AI adoption at virtually any cost, this recent report out of Australia comes to mind, where public servants are wary because they’ve seen first hand the consequences of poorly considered AI rollout.

'Research participants told Sheard that non-native English speakers or those with a disability affecting their speech could find their words not being transcribed correctly, and would then not be rated highly by the recruitment algorithm.'

He’s a very articulate and very sensible fella in my view, which just adds to all of this

So important polling on how the dogs have felt about the election just in.

I voted early as was going to be away and missed the democracy sausage altogether so making up for it with ‘democracy wine’ this evening 🤣
hdicko.bsky.social
My first election too! Although I early voted in the masons centre in Cowes (Philip Island) slightly less exciting surrounds

Why do you take things I do seriously? It’s so unreasonable. I should only be held accountable for the things I say I want to be accountable for. Isn’t that how it works?

It was in jest Leena at a Christmas party and someone targeting her private page. She’s clearly the victim of a mud slinging campaign 🙃
