It was inspiring to share medieval images & scripts with young people at Glasgow Science Festival yesterday. Featuring 3D-printed stamps designed from medieval illustrations & marginalia, made by my very talented husband Judd Harrison! & of course Bryony's wonderful quills & oak-gall ink for ARC.

Making some slides today ready for #GMS2025 (a bit early but June has become v busy!) and wanting to write a whole new Thing on Sir Gawain and the Green Knight, a poem that is always somehow different & new on each re-reading!

Thank you to the Glasgow Medieval & Early Modern group for having me to talk about my new work today!

Finished the proofs! I am yet to type up the corrections (hence the folded-over pages) but the meticulous re-reading is done. Find re-reading my own stuff v difficult, but feeling OK about it - mostly I hope it might give someone a similar experience of curiosity & discovery as I felt writing it.

My book proofs have arrived and I have printed them and put them in a folder. Full of dread at the prospect of reading it all through again, but good to be nearly finished...
