im sorry to hear that. what a difficult time. but it can be really special and lovely without faith and materialistic stuff. sure, my nephew gets a few gifts but nothing outrageous and we adults gift each other time together. make it cosy, nice food, nice music, nice lights, play games, -

twinkly lights/candles, staying in pjs and watching movies on a day off, being really cold and then coming inside and putting your feet on the heater, thinking of and buying gifts, writing cards (although those last two are technically people related), ...
